I've searched, but haven't found an answer - please forgive me if this is an easy one.
I have a 2nd gen Nano, and am running iTunes 7.018 on XP. I know this is a Mac forum, but I figure you guys know iTunes well, and this is a feature question - and the two platforms run iTunes the same way.
Here's the question:
I have several playlists that sync to the iPod, but they don't fill it. I'm looking for a simple way to fill the remaining space on the iPod.
Currently, I have a smart playlist called "iPod fill" that I use to fill the rest of the iPod. However, when my regular playlists grow, I have to manually change the size of the "iPod fill" playlist. Needless to say, it's a pain.
Is there any way to just fill the rest of the iPod with random music? Or is there a way to make a playlist that knows how much space is left on my iPod? Am I missing something simple?
Thanks for your help,
Tackett
