I love the headphones that came with my new iPod Red 4gb but I really want the in ear headphones now ( after using them with an iPod in John Lewis ). I also love the lanyard thing for the iPod Nano, makes it easier to listen to music in school without getting caught lol, but the lanyard headphones are only available in the normal design and not in in-ear design for the new 2G iPod Nano. I know there available for the old Nano but won't the size difference matter, I mean why would Apple release new lanyard headphones for the Nano if something wasen't different. So my question is pretty much are they coming out soon or am I missing something?
All comments are welcome thanks very much. Kel.

The headphone and dock cable sockets are spaced differently on the different generations.

I was uncomfortable with the dock connector's latches supporting the Nano, no matter how light it is, so we skipped the lanyard headphones and got an iSnug case. It comes with a pouch that hands the iPod upside down for easy headphone jack access, and it's secure as all get out.

Yeh they have the lanyard just it doesn't have the in-ear headphones which is what I want. I think the dock connection on the lanyard is very secure ghporter. Cheers.
