Hey there, im off on a trip 2morrow, and i wanted to add some final songs onto my iPod mini for the journey.

Now, i havent used it in a while, and wen i connected it to iTunes, it asked me if i wanted to update the iPod, i clicked "download and install" and it installed it. But, it said that i needed to connect it to a power supply to complete the update, and it wont let me use the iPod until then!!

Also, when i plug it back into the USB, it just has the sign of the battery plug pointing to a plug socket! But i dont have that!! I charge my iPod using my laptop!!

Is there any way around this, at least to get it working again!

Thanks for any help!

Invest in an AC charger from Apple. It's worth the price. For now, plug your laptop on and plug it in, then plug the iPod into it and see if the iPod restarts correctly. It might...

Good luck!

Anyway, problem sorta sorted for now, coz one of my mates has a charger, heh..

Thanks for the help though, guys!
