Good day to all. I am kinda techno goof. Had my I pod for 2 weeks before I opended it up, now its full and thats my problem. I have a 2g Nano holds up to 500 songs. Mine is full with 390 songs. How can I compress the files to get more on the Ipod???
In iTunes select your songs that aren't in the AAC format and go to Advance> Convert Songs to AAC. That should help you get some more songs on there. Welcome to MacNN!
You may have to re-rip the songs at a lower bit-rate. What did you rip your music at? 128kbps is decent for most music. At 160, 190, or 320, you're really just taking up extra space without much added fidelity.
