Speck has made worthless products and they will not protect your Ipod. I had received an Ipod video last Christmas. I bought this case with the intent of protecting my Ipod. However the belt clip on the back is made of bullet proof plastic and anytime pressure was put on my Ipod it pressed on the back of the ipod. In short eventually the belt clip dented in the back of my Ipod and destroyed it beyond repair. Also I have been trying to contact speck for over a month and they will not return my calls or emails. DON'T BUY THIS if you would like to have your Ipod work for more then a few months.

I have posted this review on several websites to let them know about what a wonderful product speck makes0and what great customer service they provide.

I've never had problems with Speck cases. But the only case I've used from them is a TightSkin for my old 4G, and it had no belt clip option. It was a great case, except it was a lint magnet.

i have to ask but are you placing a bowling ball on top of your iPod?

Normally, the belt clip is designed just to hold your iPod to your belt.... An unusual amount of weight or pressure would be an abuse of a design not meant to be used under extreme conditions.

I don't have a problem with my Speck ToughSkin....

Sorry to hear about your dilemna but I have to wonder how much pressure you were putting on it....
