If there is a forum suited to topics posted concerning iTunes I will post there next time. Since I didn't see one, I hope you don't mind if I post a topic here.

I wanted to know if anyone has experienced this before. My cpouter locked up last night while on iTunes and when it finally came back up after a power down for 2 hrs. I noticed that all of the songs in my iTunes playlist were screwed up. The songs were listed twice and sometimes 4 times in my playlist. Not sure what this means.

I'm affraid to delete the redundant entries in fear of deleting the song altoghether.

Also, if anyone knows of a link or a reference on how to setup multiple libraries and playlists for multiple users I would appreciative. I have three daughters in my house who have iPods and each one had there own WinXP account on my computer. Currently they each have their own playlist under my account feeding off a central library but one of my friends said that they should each have their own library and playlist under that. To say the least I am confused.

Any help much appreciated.

Sincerely,
Tim

i dont think you can set up several libraries. Why dont you create a playlist for each of your daughters and let them create subfolders?

I also had the same problem with itunes (messed up songs, doubles,....). i just closed itunes, restated the cpu and everything was fin, but i am sure you already tried this. Sorry i cant be of further help
