I've read a lot of posts asking how to transfer a DVD to an iPod. It's actually pretty easy. You need to use an external converter (I downloaded mine from ***********). 95% of all converters will require you to pay for their services. While you can find free converters online, I would not recommend them as the quality is really poor. Download and install the software. Open it and just follow the steps. It is as easy as it sounds. Hope this will help.

I'm going to be charitable and assume that you're not just posting an ad (something that will get you banned from the forums). But I will have to chime in and say that there are many perfectly good iPod convertors that are 100% free, and in my experience most of the ones you pay for are actually worse than the free ones. Take a look at the forum FAQ or do a web search for the names of some of the best free software for Mac and Windows.

handbrake - wonderful. it may take a while to do but the quality of the video even at low frame rates is great, and you can set it to convert for psp or iPod aslog as you no the screen size. Ive never seen a program quite like it. is a bummer for all the windows users though

I've listed (and personally tested) WIN XP iPod video converters here: The Official Blog of Robert Fornof: 1-2-06 Video Ipod

Also, I do believe Squared-5 has thier MPEG-Stream open for Mac users as well:
http://www.squared5.com/

so, don't worry ppl - freeware saves the day again !
