I just bought a new 2G nano (4 GB) for my daughter. I already have my own 2G nano (8GB), along with numerous other iPods. Hers has the latest Windows updates and is synched to her PC. I loaded 3 Albums by one Artist from iTunes (latest Windows version) to her nano. When I press Artists, rather than displaying all 3 albums, it lists all of the 34 songs found on the 3 albums. Yet, if hit Albums, it will correctly display the names of all 3 albums. This has never happened on my 8GB nano, which is synched to my Mac version of iTunes and I have a lot more music on my iPod. Is this a windows problem or a general nano software problem ? THis is a bit annoying.

Try loading more than one Artist's albums. Load more and see what it does.

Wow, you're great !

Yes, I loaded on 6 more albums of various artists onto the iPod and it has now corrected the problem.

Of course, it still has that other annoyance, that if an artist only has one Album, when you select Artist, it goes directly to the songs on that Album, rather than first showing the Album name. Oh well, I can live with that, as can my 12 yo daughter.
