I been using my ipod like for few months now. I posted a thread in the past talking about, i cant get my ipod to get noticed in my windows 98. But anyway, i was using real player and winamp to put songs in my player, but mostly real player. And just yesterday when i used winamp, and again real player.....it said i used all of my 27.84 something mb ( in realplaer) and then later it erased all my songs!!. it still show that i used up 3.04 . Then when i went back to winamp, it didnt recognize any portable devices. I dont know what happened, does anyone know what the problem is? and can i get back all the songs?

Not sure...but maybe you should start using iTunes...

Were you using Harmony to sync with RealPlayer? I think Apple breaks that with every iPod update.

I am not sure about the harmony thing but i downloaded a lotta winamp softare to help my pc recognize the ipod. Anyway, i dont think the iTunes work with my pc....i have windows 98....so still right now, i cant upload songs or anything.
