I want to prepare myself for the iphone, so I want to sell my 5G 60GB iPod Video with over 40GB of Music. I know the ipod alone isn't going to retain it's value, but all the music in there is categorized, named correctly and have the corresponding album art. The ipod is also in pristine condition. Any thoughts on what I could get for it?

It's not legal to sell it with music on it. It's duplicating copyrighted works and selling them for your own profit.

Like slpdLoad said, you cannot sell the iPod with music on it unless you include the original media. Frankly, the iPod WILL hold its value better than you think. You can get a 60GB iPod refurbished from Apple for $230, so probably a little less than that. Check around on eBay at the completed auctions to get an idea of what similar items are selling for.
