Hi everyone. I'm a total newbie to the world of iPods, and I seem to be having trouble setting up my first one. I got an iPod Nano as part of a deal with my MacBook. I didn't have time to set it up at first, so it basically sat around in the box for 4 months while I used the Macbook. Now I'm trying to set it up and that little folder icon with exclamation point keeps popping up when I try to turn it on.
I followed all the instructions provided. I installed the software from the CD, plugged my nano into the 2.0 USB port, and let it charge for about six hours before I tried loading music on it. Itunes has no trouble recognizing the ipod, and easily let me load music onto it. However, that problem from above keeps coming up when I try to turn it on independently of the computer. Occasionally the low battery sign pops up when I turn it on, but I can't figure out how that can be true if I charged it for so long? Thanks in advance for anyone's help.
