Are there any programs to rip the audio off iPod Video files?

I want to listen to the video as an audio file playable on an iPod.

I need programs for OSX, but input for Windows OS is appropriate also.

I have found the ffmpegX has the ability to take an MP4 video and extract the audio and save it as an MP3 file.

you download ffmpegX:
ffmpegX - Video

then you need 3 more files:
if the first file does not download:
-you will need to hold down the option key while hitting return to goto the link.
The other two are in the second zip = don't need to download the third file.
