I send this message to the company ATO repeatedly without obtaining a response:

I was in N.Y and there buys an iPod Video 30Gb which is model is MA444LL/A.
Buy also in Compusa the iSee 360i because I read in the exterior cover
that say that the above mentioned model was supporting.
It turns out that entering to his web page www.atotechsupport and
there are a list of the models of iPOD that are and are not
compatible. I read that mine is not compatible. That I do now. That
had happened if it had connected the Ipod.

When they deigned to answer me they said this:

The reason why your 30 GB video iPod does not work in the iSee 360i is due
to a change which Apple made on the new nano and video devices.

We released a new firmware on February 1st. Unfortunately you need to use a
previous version of the iPod to "flash" the iSee, before your new device
will work! Do you have access to an older iPod? If yes, then I can send you
the firmware update.

Thank you for your interest in ATO and its products.

Best Regards,

Howard
And I answer this:

¡¡¡Finally you deigned to answer my e-mail after having sent a few!!!!!!

Please, do not throw the fault to Apple. It is ridiculous.

The compañy ATO this one lying to the persons. In the box of the
product ¡See 360! says clearly the supported models of iPod video.
There he says clearly iPod 30GB. It does not do any discrimination
between iPod 5G and 5.5G. For which I buy the product.

This way that ATO not only is a very bad company but lie to the
persons and also ATO want to throw the fault to Apple his
inefficiency.

If it was an honest company ATO would have to ask for excuses me and
to justify myself in my credit card at least the half of the value
that I pay for the product and not to ask me that a model buys of iPod
old to use your product.

And Apple does not have anything to see with the happened.

In agreement to what ATO answer me I save myself the right to publish
in all forums of iPod what i pass in order that other persons do not
meet cheated.

The attention calls me powerfully that your product not work out
published in the catalogue of iLounge in spita of seeing been as ATO
BEST OF SHOW 2006 MacWorld.

Best regards and wait for a rapid response.

Nevermore they answered.

Could be one of the many children of the Nigerian Minister of Mines.
But let me take a shot at it: your 30 gig iPod model does not work with the iSee 360i. If the iSee 360i package says that it should work with your model, then take it back to CompUSA. Did you buy it on a credit card? Then contest the charge. It should not be your responsibility to "re-flash" an iSee with an older model iPod.

Boys do not get angry for my English who is not my native language. It is necessary to be mas obligingly. I live far from EE.UU and go every year to N.Y. for what I cannot claim Compusa. It is to ATO that he does not say in the case that is not compatible with the iPod 5.5
But I they must inform that ATO it(he,she) finishes of communicating that it(he,she) has a Firmware upgrade for iPod v5.5

Frequently the complaints serve for something and for all

Howard is the CEO of iSee.

You needed firmware update to make the device work. He was willing to provide the firmware update to you for free if you had an older iPod to install it.

Good so far.

You don't have an older iPod. Ok, so why didn't you nicely ask Howard if he would let you ship him your iSee for ATO to install the firmware since you don't have an older iPod to use for this purpose?
