I just saw it too. Pretty cool. I didn't know that the Oscars were kind of like the Super Bowl for commercials. I've seen quite a few commercials that seem to be made for this show. I haven't watched the Oscars in years though, so maybe I'm just behind the times.
Anyhow, cool commercial.

We have the Oscars on at work. I just looked up from my desk in time to see the last few seconds of the spot. I saw the iPhone and then the Apple logo on a black background.
How sad is it that I went to YouTube to see whether the commercial was there yet? It's not. Also not yet on Apple.com.

Been posted on Apple.com already.
Funny that there's no mention of the name "iPhone"

Was anyone else kind of disspointed with the ad? I'm not sure what it was that I didn't like, but it just didn't seem up to par with apples other ipod and "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" ads.

It's a kind of Apple tradition to introduce brand new product lines with 'Hello' rather than with the product name.
The original Mac 128k said 'hello'.
The first iMac said 'hello (again)'
And now the iPhone says 'Hello' too.
