I have some small but annoying problems with the ipod 30gb.

What's the nice way to delete photos from there? I don't know if its the right way or not but what I do is delete everything under the "Photos" folder in the ipod.
And is there a way to put individual photos onto the ipod, rather than syncing a whole folder to do so.
