I am interested in buying either the iHome or XtremeMac Luna iPod alarm clocks. Anyone out there have experiences with either? Thanks.

The iHome isn't bad, but the iLuv is better. My boyfriend has the iHome, and I have the iLuv. I personally think the sound quality is better on the iLuv (better bass response), and I think the iLuv overall looks better than the iHome. I really like mine. I use it every morning as my primary alarm clock. The remote control could be better - it's really really tiny, and I think identical to the one that ships with the iHome - but that's really my only complaint.

I got the JBL On Time for x-mas this year and it sounds great. Really fills the room with sound and has great bass response. Kinda pricey tho'.

I have an iHome, it isn't bad either, but the display is still too bright, even on the darkest setting.

I could be wrong, but I think the iLuv can dim the display down to no backlight at all. I think. I'd have to go home and look.
