As someone who's actually planning on getting an iPhone, I've got a nice little wishlist, actually
- iWork or Google Apps (at least Google Docs and Spreadsheets for productivity on the go
- iChat for AIM chatting on the go
- Java and Flash support for Safari
- iTunes with iTunes store because an iPod app seems to limiting and iTunes has a more "full-featured" kind of image
- RSS reader
- Games for diversions when desperately bored
- Garageband and Apple Loops for composing ringtones on the go (also serves are a nice diversion when bored; Sony Ericsson has a ringtone composer built-into their phones)
- iWeb (I never use iWeb, but I'm sure there's people who would want on an iPhone)
I'm sure I can think of more later on, but even without those apps, the iPhone does feel like a Newton revival, except designed more with Apple's "lifestyle-to-go" focus rather than Windows Mobile's "do everything no matter what" approach.
