I have a 5g video ipod that is about one year old (so warrenty is over). I am only getting sound out of the left channel when headphones are plugged completely in (tried different headphones and sound cable for my car and same result) so i'm sure it's the headphone jack. If I move the headphone connector around I can sometimes pick up the other channel but lose it again as soon as I let go. Also, both channels sometimes work when the headphones are only plugged in half way.I have opened up the Ipod and have tinkered with the headphone jack but no results yet.

Is there a way to fix this without getting a replacement Jack/Hold switch???
