I recently purchased an iPod Video (80gb), and I have a few family videos that are in .vob format. Can the iPod play .vob files, and if not, is there a free converter to change unprotected .vob files to either MPEG or AVI?
If you still have the vobs in the original DVD structure (VIDEO_TS folder with a bunch of 1GB files), use HandBrake. Otherwise if the vobs have been concatenated into one per movie, use iSquint/VisualHub/ffmpegx.
