Hey All,

I just got a brand new most current generation Ipod mini (8gb). I ordered it online from vanns.com and it is brand new. Recently, I have been experiencing a funny issue. I turn the ipod on, press shuffle songs and the ipod goes to my first track... then freezes! It doesn't play music.. it just get s stuck at this screen.

Strangely enough, my ipod is working fine right now. Does apple have a warranty available? I can also probably still exchange it for a new one which is what I'm most likely going to do.

Is this a known issue?

Before even worrying about the warranty, restore you iPod to factory settings, and reload it with music, that helped me from freezing.

Well firstly I am OCD and they are no longer called minis they are called Nanos (so if I sound like an ass but I cant help it, Like when people spell iMac, Imac) Sceond use the 5 R's of iPods (reset, retry, restart, reinstall, restore)
