I am a bit confused . the website doesn't mention the ipod video

Bose SoundDock Digital Music System - Multimedia Sound

but some / almost all retailer say it is supported .. Is someone using that set in conjunction with an 5th Gen ipod video ?

edit: Mmm.. checked the manual .. doesn't look like its supported ...

i have the exact same speakers right here in front of me
they provide alot of power and are good quality.
it does not play videos when docked only charges and plays music
and all 4 of my iPods work on this dock

personally i do not use it that often.
i'd suggest you just get some good quality speakers for your comp
