Anyone know if/how it's possible to transfer podcasts from the ipod to the hard drive as a stand alone file?
If not, how do I set preferences so that each time I plug the pod in, itunes doesn't delete old filea as new ones are added?
thx

I dunno. How about iTunes/Preferences/Podcasts/Keep: All Episodes?

well, if the podcasts are on your iPod, then they are downloaded in iTunes, right? can't you just go in ITunes, find the podcast(s) you want, control-click, and pick "Show in Finder". then copy and paste the file to wherever you want.

As far as not deleting song/podcasts when you plug in your iPod -- set preferences to manually update rather than automatically.
