Howdy...
I have my iphone setup with a 1&1 exchange account via iMap, and all is right with the world, except one thing:
Although my inbox and its subfolders have come accross, none of my other folders (at the same level as the inbox) show up.
My 'prefix path' is INBOX, but I've tried the default '/' and it doesn't help. There seems to be no way leave the path blank...
Any ideas?
Best,
Ben

not entirely sure this is possible...doesn't work on our internal exchange server either, and actually i dont' even think my activesync phone does it for my folders. the only ones it does is subfolders within the inbox. Only way to do it otherwise would be goodlink i think...or BES

The problem is your path prefix. It is telling your IMAP client to only look at folders inside "INBOX".
INBOX itself is a folder containing sent, trash, drafts, and all of the other folders you have created that are associated with your email client.
This setting is incorrect, and should be removed.

We have our exchange server setup for IMAP connections, then I set up addressbook to sync to it, and I turned on sync services in entourage 2004 to sync to iCal.that pretty much covers mail, contacts and calendar. While not as efficient as activesync, it works well enough.

Just FYI, the Address Book -> Exchange syncing does not happen over IMAP, but via Outlook Web Access.

It would be nice if Microsoft played better with a number of non-MS products, but I've sort of given up on the prospects of MS not being MS

Set it up as a regular IMAP account, not Exchange, then leave the prefix blank. You can then see all your folders.
