My wife and I each have an iPhone. We share iPhoto and iTunes libraries. I can sync my iPhone without problems, but she can't sync photos. It keeps saying that she doesn't have permission. If we tell it not to sync photos, it will sync everything else fine.
We put our iTunes library into the Shared folder, turned on ACLs, and assigned both users to be able to read/write. We then aliased the appropriate files into our ~/Music/iTunes. This works great. We have identical music libraries, playlists, etc and it works just fine. We did the same thing with our iPhoto library.
I think it must have something to do with the way we have our libraries set up to share, but there must be lots of people that do this.
Any ideas?
