How Do You Transfer Pics from iPhone to Mac

I've got about 50+ photos on my iPhone but I can't seem to transfer them to my macbook, can someone please help?

I have no problem, when im in iPhoto it sees the iPhone as a camera and asks to import
MacBook Pro 15" i7 ~ Snow Leopard ~ iPhone 4 - 16Gb

When you connect your iPhone, you have to go into iPhoto and click the "import" button, just as if the iPhone was a digital camera.
