My home Wifi is the only Wifi network that I'm having toruble connecting to. It shows full bars but when I try to load a website it says "safari can't open the page because it can't find the server". Has anyone else run into this problem? If so have you found a solution? Thanks.
Well, it sounds like a configuration issue with your router. I'm not sure what the solution is, but you might check out Apple's support forums. I think other people have had similar issues.
Connecting to your router is one thing, your router connecting to your internet service provider is another. Check your System Preferences, Network and tell us what IP address you have been given.
ok I feel sort of stupid but I realized that my dad had unplugged the Ethernet cord from our router and put directly into his iMac. So it was still emitting a signal but with no Internet. Oh well, I guess I'll look first next time.
