When I press the "send" button . . . . nothing happens . . . i try to press all around it and the only thing i end up typing is "p" or "o" over and over again . . . anyone else have thing problem?

it's white . . . and now i noticed I can't click the same spot under calendar . . . could it be a dead sensor?

The same spot does work in other apps, so I guess it's not a dead sensor . . . i'm not gonna get too worked up about this . . . hopefully they send out a software update soon!

You don't have to push with any force at all on the iPhone screen. The only question might be if he is holding his finger down long enough.

Could AT&T have messed up and not enabled SMS on the phone? Could that be possible on their end?

i could send sms for about a week . . then something just happened and that zone of the iphone screen just isn't as responsive . . . i have no clue what happened as I've taken really good care of it while waiting for my speck case!

try a software restore (in itunes) or a hard reset (hold home and sleep buttons for 12 seconds).
