Greetings!

My work email is accessible through a webmail address...along the lines of:

http://webmail.companyname.com

I know I could use safari to get there, but can I set up an email client on the iPhone to allow me to download my mail?

Any suggestions? My IT dept is still struggling to figure out IMAP, so I am carrying around 2 devices...needless to say I am starting to look like "batman" with a big utility belt.

If your work email allows for POP3 access, it would work. But most corporate accounts don't do that. If they can't get IMAP up and running, I fear you may be SOL until some sort of blackberry-like solution comes out. Or Apple licenses the technology to sync the phone with an Exchange server.

We use Lotus Notes at work. Not holding my breath for that one.

I remember reading somewhere that there is some service that you can use with Exchange servers without having to open up any ports or anything that the typical business IT guy doesn't like to do. The name of it is completely slipping my mind at the moment. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
