So I just got my iPhone and really love it a lot. Setup was good and already adding all of my music, contacts and everything, but one small problem I encountered this morning when leaving for work. I went to connect my bluetooth headset, but all it did when I turned on bluetooth was "searching."

I am currently trying to connect - Sony Ericsson Bluetooth Headset HBH-GV435.
The headset is on and working fine, I even got it to connect to my old phone, have removed it from my old phones list and still not able to get them to connect. Is there something else I need to do that I am not aware of?

Might be a silly question but are you sure that you set the headset to be Discoverable?

I would assume so seeing as I can get it to connect to my old phone.

Was it already paired with your old phone? The bluetooth headsets I've used all have a specific process for pairing to a new device. Like pressing and holding a certain button for a few seconds until you see a specific blinking light, then it will pop up on your phone as a device that wants to be paired.
