• get TV shows and movies from the iTunes Store if you're in the US
• use HandBrake (free) to get your DVDs onto your iPod
• use iSquint (free) to get DivX, AVI, etc. movies onto your iPod

Or, if this thread works the way all the other threads worked where a brand new user signed up to ask a question that is a) in the iPod FAQ at the top of the forum, and b) is asked ALL THE TIME and thus easily found via the Search function, you can shell out lotsa dollars for some CuCuS*ft-repackaged spamware that will be advertised by another freshly-signed-up poster within the next few hours.

Bingo! Question asker and question answerer happen to be from the same IP...coincidence? I think NOT.

Both are now banned, and this thread is closed. Thanks for playing!
