I've been using iMovie to export home videos to my iPhone. The problem is the original movie clips are NOT widescreen (they are 640 x 480), and when I select iPhone from the Share menu, the clips are stretched to fill up the the screen when they are converted. I'd rather that the normal aspect ratio be retained. There are no "option" settings when you select "iPhone", where you can click a button to "preserve aspect ratio," like you can on expert settings with quicktime movies.

Should I export as a quicktime movie? What settings should I use? Is there a way to find out the settings used by iMovie for the iPhone export, so I can simply copy these while preserving the aspect ratio?
