So for daily the use the cleaning pad that came with the phone works alright, but what about after a month of use and you still have smears that will not go away?
Does anyone have a good product or idea on how to fully clean the screen to make it seem "as good as new?" I am just thinking of something that I use once a week or once a month to clean the screen to give it a nice refresh look every now and again.

All I've done is just wash the iPhone cleaning cloth. Unless some substance other than skin oils (i.e. fingerprints) has been left on the IPhone, then it should come clean with a clean cloth.

I've used a very soft cloth and some water to get some extra stubborn smudges out. I've also used Klear Screen every so often just to give it a really nice polish.

At first, every week I used a paper towel with like 2 drops of water on it, then dried with another paper towel. That made it look good as new.
Then 2 days ago, I finally noticed a small permanant scratch on the bottom left of the screen. I decided it was time to invest in the invisashield, and I so I got it yesterday and put it on, and the first 24 hours with it have been great. I recommend it to everyone, it eliminates the need for a case, and you cant even tell it's there. And the shield is even easier to clean than the iPhone's glass screen.

I want to use an invisashield, but in the past I have never had good luck with them, DS/PSP/etc. They always look nice if you put it on right, but I never have been able to, and if I mess up it always seems to leave some crud if I try to quickly correct it. Though I do have a case coming for it so that is one reason I am not worried also.
Thanks for the suggestions.

A damp cloth will work just fine. When I'm out and about and I get some stubborn smudges I give it a good old fashioned spit shine. My saliva is like Windex.

I do that if I am out and about, just looking for that product to use monthly to give it that "renew" look.
Though the good old mouth cleaner does work very well.

I also want to disinfect the phone from all the bacteria crud on it. Is it safe to use rubbing alcohol on it?

I use Lysol pre-moistened disinfecting wipes every couple of weeks to wipe it down, then polish it by making a towel taco--iPhone in the fold of a soft kitchen towel. It comes out all pretty and clean.

I use prune juice and a turkey baster. I'll be the first to admit that it's not 100% effective, and in all honesty, it doesn't really even "clean" the thing. But doing it that way keeps my phone regular.

Actually I use one called iKlenz. It works really great. It comes with the solution, cleaning cloth, and a case to take it all with you. Its really nice. Check it out index.
