Gmail on the iphone is a bit wonky. I found 50 e...err... gmails marked unread upon looking at my phone this morning. Anyone else seen this?

nope.. everything is fine here... you didnt happen to reset your phone lately? I reset my phone once and it brought back ALL of my old emails as if they were unread.

I power it off and on, but I haven't done a straight up restore via itunes.

Nope, I only get CCs on the mail I designate. I did have to do a reset of my phone the other week due to it not picking up all my folders on my .mac account. While a bit of a pain to restore certain settings, it is good for clearing up some of the mysteries of the phone....

I assume you mean where you get CC'd on every email you send out?
Ya. That's a "feature" they're working on. It's on the gmail pop setup page.
