Does anyone know if there is a good, non-internet based notepad syncing utility?

AFAIK, there is no way to actually sync the iPhone Notes app. The only way I have seen to do something similar, and it works OK, is to do this:

In your address book, make a new contact. I made mine a "company" named Misc. Info

I didn't put in any contact info, just filled in some text in the Notes field.

You then get this contact synced, and can look it up and edit the notes all you want, on either end.

gotcha, thanks for the info, but i have tons of notes. currently i am using listingly.com
but it is slower than i would like.
