I have a 5th Gen. iPod that is acting up I am almost sure that its a HDD issue but would like a little feedback, the symptoms are as follows and are intermittent

The iPod will mount and start to sync to iTunes, but will get an error that unable to read / write to iPod

will freeze in middle of a song and require a reset

will not power off ( drain battery and will loose all info ) or will start to reboot and will get stuck

Like i said it only happens sometime and thus far not enough to be a real problem but enough to annoy

any feed back would be a great help
