Hey, I oredered a Macbook Pro in mid June I ordered a 80GB ipod with it. I recieved the ipod shortly after the order was placed. Then a few weeks later the Macbook Pro arrived but no rebate for purchasing as a student. IHas anyone else done this and how did you recieve your rebate?

Apple doesn't give rebates to students. Instead, they have an education store with the reduced pricing.
if you are a student, and you didn't get the special pricing, call up Apple and see what they can do for you.

Except, uh, when they do. I think it's a stupid way to do it, but they do it anyway.
It's on top of the edu store pricing, and I think you have to buy from the edu store to qualify.
