I'm using my old 3rd generation iPod for a hard drive to backup my laptops. However, the battery is so old that it frequently looses a charge before the backup completes. I don't have firewire on my laptops and USB doesn't draw power for the iPod. Is there a product out there that provides AC power and allows for a sync at the same time?

i dont think there is but google it and you might find something. if you take the ipod to best buy they can replace ipod batterys
