It seems we will likely get a few other updates on the iPhone along with the wifi store coming later this month. The new iPod Touch guide indicates multiple keyboards on the Touch including many languages along with QWERTY,QVERTY, and some others. The Touch can use multiple keyboards simultaneously, allowing you to switch with the tap of a button.
Also mentioned is a double-tap on the space bar to type a period. I think this is stolen from the blackberry.
I'm guessing Apple will also add this stuff to the iPhone.
