iPod Classic and JBL on stage II

Does anyone else have a new iPod Classic and the JBL on stage II? I have both and occassionally the iPod stops playing and displays a fading blue Apple logo. I suspect it's the closest thing to a crash, but I only experience it when using the JBL.
