I recently bought an iPhone, updated to 1.0.2 and unlocked it.
I only mention that because I don't know if it has a bearing on my question...

Is it possible to have Coverflow only show the albums on the current playlist you're on? For example, I'm on "Albums of 2007" playlist, I rotate the iPhone to show Coverflow - it should show only the albums in that playlist. Currently it shows all albums from my entire library.

i dont think it does.. but they should add it.

It seems that when the iPhone goes into CoverFlow it shows all of your albums.
Not to derail your thread or anything, but I'd like CoverFlow to be usable when creating an on the go playlist.

I thought so too - that it shows all music
But I just called a friend, who bought his iPhone on launch day and has service with ATT, and he says his Coverflow displays by playlist. Since he's not next to me to try it out, I thought I'd see what the internet says.
