Hey!

I'm the proud owner of a new iPod Classic(80GB). I got the latest firmware, 1.0.1, but after every sync my iPod makes a loud "click" noise and resets :/ I didn't experience this with the firmware the iPod came with, this is all after the update.

Is there anyone who has similar problems with their Classic?

Cheers

Weird, maybe they decided to make it like a true classic iPod and make it reset after every sync (like the old 1G and 2G iPods). How much music do you have? After you put so much on, maybe it has to reset?

Maybe try checking the "Manually Manage Music" and then manually put your music onto the iPod to see if it works that way.

Okay, i noticed that the iPod only does it after i have put some new videos into my library and synced them to my iPod. Is it supposed to do this every time?
Maybe i should call up Apple Support tomorrow.

Sounds like a plan. Let us know what they say!
