I am going to buy the new Ipod Touch 16 GB, and have the Apple Universal Dock, the one with the round infrared port. Will it work for Audio and Video with the Ipod Touch? I know that it brings a Dock Adapter, but my question is regarding showing videos and sound.

Yes I know those two products you state do work, because they are the new products, the new dock and the new cable.

My question is: Will the dock before this one, the one with the round infrared port, not rectangular and smaller, will work for showing video and audio for the Ipod Touch?

my bad. i didn't even notice/realized/knew that apple had changed the uni docks to quick to try and be helpful was me.
