You've probably read a ton of iPhone reviews by now, but this one is performed by the tech chief at Direct Energy, a multi-billion dollar retail energy provider. This guy knows his mobile devices; he's in charge of managing some 500 smartphones.

Check it out.

That pretty much repeats every single review about the iPhone to date. And it's about 3 months too late.

Aye, he didn't offer any other insights as an executive of corporate firm than any other review by reviewers of different backgrounds. And he doesn't know mobile devices - he just knows Blackberries. Not discounting the importance of that in a corporate environment, but there are a ton of other smartphone devices out there and his review didn't really reflect any of that mobile 'expertise.'

why is this a 'real' review just because it's from someone who's in a tech manager ? The iPhone is aimed at the man in the street anyway, so I think Joe Average is the kind of person Apple really wants to hear feedback from.

What's the point of any in-depth reviews on the iPhone at this point? It has been done a thousand times, and every issue has been covered.

Huh? The CTO at my company manages a couple hundred smart phones. Should I get him to write a review, too?

what an abrupt ending tothe article

anyhow I dont think apple marketed the iphone for work
its for personal use
I mean honestly
did the fact that apple pushed the youtube, ipod features not give him a clue?
surely the lack of copy cut paste and a simple notes program should have.
last but not least there is only ONE calendar on the iphone's ical
being a mac user he should have immediatly noticed the difference between this and ical on his imacs......

the fact that he would even consider thie iphone to be anything other than geared towards personal use baffles me

Kind of a fanboy review, with little substance.

Funny comment, but I'm replying because your sig reminds of of the Pearl Jam song "Red Mosquito" and that's cool!

Smells like it. A Google search for a key phrase yields these results:
"This guy knows his mobile devices; he's in charge of managing some 500 smartphones" - Google Search
