According to a tiny article in my paper today, Steve has announced that some time early next year (February?) Apple will release a real, honest to gosh third party SDK and allow third party apps on the iPhone. Who'da thunk it!

(The only problem is that I didn't get a chance to copy down the source for the article so I can't post a link to it... Sorry.)
