Has the Mail app on the iPhone been updated to handle Leopard style To-Do's and Notes or does it handle them already?

Nope. It was listed as a feature and then removed from Apple's site.

A note will appear in your inbox (I just tested it with an IMAP account) but "to do" items do not.

I don't have an iPhone. I do notice though that the To-Do's are in a folder called Apple To-Do's on my IMAP server and I can see them with a web interface. The notes are there in a folder called Notes. If I collect email with Versamail on my Palm I get the Notes but I don't see the Apple To-Do's folder.

ToDos appear on the iPhone as Apple Mail To-Dos (I think that's what the folder was named) when they are saved to an IMAP account. I think apple has made this unnecessarily complex though. Why would a use want to save ToDos in separate mail accounts? It seems the simple solution is to just have a single ToDo database like iCal.

Also, I noticed after upgrading to Leopard that I now have a junk mail folder on my iPhone .mac account that wasn't there before.

I don't even see that kman. Do you have to select to sync the mail folders in iTunes? I have that unchecked as it get's the mail from the network anyway.

It would be nice if the notes in mail.app would jsut be routed to the notes application on the iPhone.

The "Apple Mail To Do" folder shows on my IMAP .Mac iPhone account.

The irritating thing is that it shows to dos as e-mail messages. "(No Sender)" is the most prominent thing. Expected behavior would be to open that folder and see your to dos listed. Instead you see (No Sender) in bold, with the actual text of the to do much smaller, in the Subject line field.

Stupid!
