Get some people to go with you, have them buy some and pay them back?

Go in the store and buy 2. Go put them in your trunk.

Go back in and use another credit card to buy 2 more.

So one card could be a credit card and the other could be a debit card even though they are both from the same bank?

I'm 99% sure it can be the same credit card... you just have to go in twice and make sure they don't recognize you.

Tracking purchases on a credit card is against the agreement with the card issuers... card numbers are only to be used for transaction purposes... nothing else (like limit setting, etc).

So if they recognize you, you're out of luck even if you use a different card.

BTW, there are some stories of people saying they're able to pay cash or gift card with all but $1 of the purchase has to be a credit card. So you can give a friend all cash and have them put $1 on their CC. Just pretend not to know them in the store.
