Thanks for those pointers, I've never had a bluetooth phone before (well, that's not exactly true, but my last two phones were Windows Mobile smartphones, and I gave up numerous times trying to get them to talk with my Macs). As for the iPhone and BT, you filled me with hope...until it was crushed:
BT file transfer: "iSync cannot connect to this device"
Browse files: "This device does not have the necessary services"
It makes sense to not attempt to sync music and videos via bluetooth, but calendars, address book and other small amounts of data should not choke BT's bandwidth.
I wonder why Apple make it possible to sync the iPhone with a computer? Me, I'm hoping that a future update will allow for calendar and address sync'ing (and that Apple just accidentally left this functionality in, without it having anything to do beyond BT headsets).
