I hope this is the right place. I want to have two iTunes set up on two different disks. One for songs at lower bit rates for my iPhone, and one for the higher bit rate for my iPod Classic. At the present time I have to backup and restore each time I want to make a change, and as my library is quit large it takes a great deal of time.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

HAving separate iTunes applications is completely irrelevant to having separate iTunes LIBRARIES.

Hold down the Option key ("alt") when starting up iTunes to create a new iTunes Library in a location of your choice, or to switch between existing iTunes library folders.
