My iPod has froze..

This is the second it's done this, I can't recall how I fixed it the first time.
This time, I had it on my iPod system, it's one of those thingys that recharges the iPod plus you can listen to your music on it, on speakers.. and it has a radio.
It froze while being on that, and unfortunetly I do not have the program on my computer, because it broke, and the computer I am using now is Windows 98, and iTunes doesn't support windows 98.
I have no clue what to do, the light is still on, and it's froze on one song..

SOMEONE help me pleeease.. I wanted to listen to it on Christmas.

Press and hold the center and menu buttons at the same time to reboot the iPod.
