hello

bought the apple update for £12.99, apple took my money, downloaded something rather quickly, then said all you need to do is sync, which i have done, and your new programs will be installed. except they haven't!!!!!

anyone else had this problem yet?

im gonna email apple n complain, cos iv done nothing wrong here.

you need to update to itunes 7.6

everything is completly up to date

after reading the apple discussions page, neerly everyone on there cant get it working, looks like there is a problem with firmware 1.1.3

solution: restore your iPod

lose everything, but get your programs on

I have exactly the same problem, but restauring the iPod didn't work.

I've sent Apple a complaint.. but damn this is shoddy.

Edit: got it to work, I made the crucial error of resetting it to factory settings and then copying preferences to the pod

Needs to be 100% wiped to factory settings and say goodbye to all your preferences as well.
